Anthropic Launches The Anthropic Institute for AI Societal Impact Research
Anthropic is establishing The Anthropic Institute, a new interdisciplinary research body led by co-founder Jack Clark in his new role as Head of Public Benefit. Anthropic partners with University of Chicago's Becker Friedman Institute on AI economic research
Anthropic announced a partnership with the University of Chicago's Becker Friedman Institute for Economics (BFI) to study AI's impact on labor markets and the broader economy. BFI faculty will receive Claude for Enterprise access, training sessions, and virtual workshops as part of the collaboration.
