Anthropic raises $450M Series C led by Spark Capital with Google and Salesforce participation

Anthropic announced a $450 million Series C funding round led by Spark Capital, with participation from Google, Salesforce Ventures, Sound Ventures, and Zoom Ventures. Proceeds will fund expansion of Claude-based products, enterprise API growth, and AI safety research including alignment techniques.
