OpenAI co-authored a multi-institutional paper forecasting how malicious actors could misuse AI technology, produced in collaboration with FHI, CSER, CNAS, EFF, and others over nearly a year. The paper outlines potential threat vectors and proposes prevention and mitigation strategies.
